The short documentary “As leaves in the wind” (Como hojas por el viento) by Sofia Luz is in the official selection of LISFF – Linz International Short Film Festival, Austria.
The documentary will be screened on October 10, 2024 at the City Kino in Linz at 7.30 pm.

The Linz International Short Film Festival was founded in 2018 with the aim of supporting young, talented filmmakers in their qualitative work and giving them the opportunity to present their creations in a professional setting. The thematic focus is on diversity and “independent films” with strong characters and plots, creative and entertaining narratives.
The short documentary
“As leaves in the wind” is a story of two transgender women who migrate from their home countries seeking asylum and opportunities in a new continent. Their lives go through structural changes when they meet and take part in a new support network. Made by them for them.
