Director statement
Each of us as human beings is led by our nature to carry out a certain action. Not just any action but an action that qualifies us, characterizes us and represents us, makes us feel alive and fulfilled.
With this work I tried to explore the dynamics of the human nature, trying to grasp its different facets, mechanisms and contradictions, and its ineluctable power.
Certainly, at the basis of my intentions there is a discourse that has a profound political connotation. Unfortunately, I see humanity increasingly committed to fomenting wars for the sole pleasure of having them, ending them in some way and starting again from scratch, provoking a new one, endlessly, looking for new enemies, perhaps imaginary ones; I see a humanity that is killing its own planet and destined for self-destruction.
