Biofilmography
Rinaldas Tomasevicius is an up-and-coming film director and screenwriter. Before embarking on a career in film directing, he himself experienced homelessness. Only 12 years ago, he managed to escape from this challenging situation. This experience serves as the main inspiration for his films. Rinaldas is mostly concerned with themes of persons who don’t conform to social norms. He is trying to help the border people to integrate into society, personally supports them by volunteering for many years in various organizations that help former prisoners and drug addicts. His shorts “Last Time” and “-15” are currently on their international festivals circuit and won more than 10 prizes. In 2022 Rinaldas obtained a BA degree in film directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, and MA degree in 2024.
