Biofilmography
Angelo Giordano, born in 2000, is an Italian filmmaker. Since 2016 he began making advertising videos, music and short films, one of which “The shadow of the past” won the Totalife competition in Avellino, Italy, in 2018. In the same year he made the short film “Stairs”, which received positive reviews from important magazines such as Nocturno and Ciak. From 2019 to 2022 he attended the Luchino Visconti Civic School of Cinema in Milan with a specialization in screenwriting. In 2024 he made the short film “The recurrence”.
Director statement
Basically, with this short film I have not only tried to talk about the traditions that are being lost but also to show how human selfishness, increasingly rampant, makes citizens forget the great beauty that lies behind communication and solidarity with the other, the observation and understanding of what surrounds us.
